It’s a simple plan… I want to give you something in order to get something that I need in return :-) !
What I want to give you: 3 Years advertising space online combined with a rolling advertisement on my new Car
What will It cost you?: A mere R260.00
What do I get in return? : A new Car.. *dance of joy*
A New Car?? Why would I do this for a New Car?? Well, I don’t need a trip to Disney land, I don’t want to travel to the moon and I don’t want a body makeover.What I need is a car. And soon…
Because the car I currently own is a Jetta II - 1989 model and it is T.I.R.E.D , in the process of systematically shutting down(no speedometer,a leaky pipe or two, right shock gave up the ghost, door handles keep breaking, some rust, no aerial, dodgy boot lock, loose carb bolt,etc)...
Yes, I need a new car, but its frikken expensive and all my money is tied up in my business right now.
So what is a girl to do? How do I go about affording a new car?
- Vehicle Finance? – Financing a vehicle is too risky right now for me as I am currently overextended as it is.
- Rich family? – Have almost zero family left and as my Dad used to say “we not the Rockefella's, we the other fella's"
- Steal one? – My luck I wont even get out the parking lot.. and I don't want to be anyone's biaatch.
- Save? – HAHAHA, every time I try that an emergency expense pops up and the savings wave goodbye.
So I sat and thought and thought and thought.. <- tiring stuff, hey! And read some articles on money creation when it came to me..
The power of many, that’s where it is. The power of many….
First I calculate how much I need = +-R109 000.00
Then divide it by how many people I know = 3
109 000/3 = R36 333.33
Then I ask each of my (3)friends to give me that amount…
Ok, that’s a little bit dismal to ask the three people I know to give me R36 333.33 each. They may not invite me for tea anymore.
But just think how cool it would be if I knew say 420 people! Then it would look more like this:
109 000/420 = R260 !!
So if each of these friends gave me R260 (because they love me) I would be able to get a new car and not guess my speed or have to top up water after each stop or have to keep replacing door handles and be able to make long distance trips and, and, and, and..
So I thought about this and came up with this mutually beneficial setup...
For each person that donates R260.00 towards my car they will receive a position on the website linking back to them with a small avatar and 140 characters of text for a period of three years. This site will be proudly displayed on the car for that period giving each and everyone as much exposure as possible!
Everywhere I go, people will see the link on the car and be able to read up about this project and see the list of 420 people who made this possible.
